Commercial Truck Driver Training
At Jiffy’s Truck School, we provide professional commercial truck driver training to facilitate students’ advancement in their careers efficiently and effectively. We offer fast-track Class “A” and “B” courses to help you complete your Entry-Level Driver Training requirements on a schedule that works for you, without sacrificing quality or service. Steps For Obtaining A Commercial License
Obtain a Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP)
• Meet age and residency requirements.
• Pass a DOT physical exam.
• Study and pass the written knowledge tests at the DMV
Complete The Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) Requirements
This is where we step in and can provide you with:
• Classroom theory
• In-yard training
• Behind-the-wheel driving
Pass The DMV CDL Test
Includes three parts:
• Pre-Trip Inspection
• Basic Control Skills (Backing Maneuvers)
• Road Test (City &
Highway Driving)
Receive Your CDL
After passing the DMV CDL test, you’ll receive your Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and be ready to get on the road!
